Planning a solo trip for the first time. Here are a few safety tips that you should keep in mind if you’re travelling alone

Plan your entire trip and confirm your accommodation whether at a hotel or a homestay beforehand

Do not share your personal information or details about your accommodation with strangers

Carry some sort of self defence product such as pepper spray in case of an emergency

Interact with the locals, learn about their culture, and pick up a few words in their language to enrich your solo trip and make it full of memories
