India beat New Zealand in World Cup 2023 semi-final

India beat New Zealand by 70 runs in semi-finals and qualified for the World Cup 2023 final match that will be held on November 19, 2023 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

India won the toss and opted to bat first. 

Rohit Sharma partnered with Shubman Gill and scored 47 runs in 29 balls.

Gill delivered a brilliant performance and remained unbeaten on 80 off 66 balls.

Virat Kohli went on to smash his 50th ODI century and shattered Sachin Tendulkar's record for most ODI tons.

Shreyas Iyer also smashed his second consecutive century in World Cup 2023  in 67 balls.

KL Rahul smashed 39 runs in 20 balls and India scored 397/4 in 50 overs. 

Mohammed Shami got a breakthrough with his first ball of the match and then got a second in the next over.

Shami completed a five-wicket haul and took a total of 7 wickets in the semi-final match.

New Zealand was all out for 327 in 48.2 overs as India won by 70 runs.

India advanced to World Cup 2023 final on November 19, where they will either play against South Africa or Australia.
