IPL 2024 Orange Cap contenders: CSK's Ruturaj Gaikwad overtook RCB's Virat Kohli

Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad surpassed Virat Kohli to grab the top position on the list of contenders for Orange Cap this season on May 2, 2024.

Gaikwad hit five fours and two sixes during the match surpassing Kohli's IPL 2024 total of 500. The batter has so far scored 509 runs this season.
