Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal in the individual 10m air pistol event and the 10m air pistol mixed team to become the first athlete of independent India to win two medals in a single edition of the Olympics.

First Indian table tennis player to make pre-quarterfinals

Manika Batra became the first Indian table tennis player to make it to the pre-quarterfinals. Sreeja Akula joined Batra in the round of 16.

Swapnil Kusale won the bronze medal in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions, taking India's medal tally in shooting at the Paris Olympics to three.
