Rohan Bopanna's 5 milestone achievements in tennis

Tennis player Rohan Bopanna and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden beat the Italian pair of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori to win the 2024 Australian Open men's doubles final on January 27.

Here is a look at the Indian tennis player's other milestone achievements across his career.

The 43-year-old has become the oldest Grand Slam champion. Bopanna beat the record previously held by Jean-Julien Rojer, who bagged the French Open men's doubles trophy in 2022 with Marcelo Arevola at 40.

He recorded his 500th tour-level career win during the Australian Open after beating James Duckworth and Marc Polmans on January 18.

He assured the World No. 1 spot in the ATP men's doubles rankings on January 18, 2024, making him the oldest player to hold the World No. 1 spot in ATP history.

He is the fourth Indian player to win a Grand Slam title, an achievement he unlocked in 2017 after winning the French Open mixed doubles alongside Canada's Gabriela Dabrowski.

He became the oldest player to win an ATP Masters 1000 title after he lifted the Indian Wells Masters 2023 trophy with Australian partner Matt Ebden.
