5 unbelievably toxic plants that can kill

Some plants may look harmless but can be deadly if touched or ingested.

Here are five of the most toxic plants in the world.

Just a few berries from the Deadly Nightshade (Belladonna) plant can cause hallucinations, paralysis, or even death if consumed.

All parts of the Oleander plant are highly poisonous, and even inhaling the smoke from burning it can be lethal.

Infamous for its role in history, Hemlock is lethal if ingested, leading to muscle paralysis and respiratory failure.

The seeds of the Castor Bean Plant contain ricin, one of the deadliest toxins, which can cause organ failure if ingested.

The attractive red and black seeds of the Rosary Pea (Abrus precatorius) contain abrin, which is fatal in small doses if chewed or ingested.

Plant poisoning symptoms may include vomiting, difficulty breathing, hallucinations, paralysis, and even death.

Immediate medical attention is required if you suspect poisoning from these plants.

Always wear gloves when handling unknown plants, and avoid ingesting or burning any unfamiliar vegetation.
