8 breathtaking NASA photos of the Bubble Nebula you can’t miss

The Bubble Nebula is a giant cloud of gas and dust, 7,100 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia.

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope took detailed images of the Bubble Nebula, showing its bright, glowing bubble.

The "bubble" shape is created by a hot, massive star’s strong winds blowing gas away, forming the bubble-like structure.

The massive star at the nebula's centre is 45 times larger than our Sun, pushing material outward at over 1,00,000 km per hour.

The Bubble Nebula spans 7 light-years, about 1.5 times the distance from the Sun to the nearest star.

Hubble’s images show the Bubble Nebula in beautiful detail, with bright blues and reds, caused by different gases.

The star’s ultraviolet radiation energises the surrounding gas, making it glow brightly, giving the nebula its stunning look.

The Bubble Nebula is still growing as the star keeps pushing gas away, expanding the bubble at incredible speed.

The star at the centre will eventually explode as a supernova, which could further change the shape of the nebula.

NASA's Hubble images continue to amaze us, showing the incredible beauty and power of space, like the majestic Bubble Nebula.
