Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino from Brazil hold the record as the world’s shortest married couple.

Paulo is 90.28 cm (35.54 in) tall. Katyucia is slightly taller at 91.13 cm (35.88 in).

Together, they measure just 181.41 cm (71.42 in).

The couple tied the knot on 17 September 2016, just two months before their world record was confirmed.

Paulo and Katyucia chatted online for a couple of years before meeting in person for the first time on 20 December 2008.

For four years, they kept a long-distance relationship.

Paulo couldn’t walk until he was 21. In his teens, he used a child’s tricycle to move around independently.
