Work email blunders you should never make

Some email habits can make you look rude or unprofessional at work. Here are common mistakes to avoid, according to Forbes.

Don’t hit “reply all” unless your message adds value.

Even in short emails, be polite. Use “please,” and “thank you,” and wish people well at the end.

Start every email with a proper hello. Skipping greetings can seem rude or overly familiar.

Don’t shorten someone’s name unless they say it’s okay. Use the name they write in their email.

Never badmouth your team, job, or company. 

Emoticons may look childish in professional emails.
