Use cucumber and milk as it comforts sunburns and moisturises the skin

De-tan your skin by using a paste made of a pinch of turmeric, two tbsps of honey, and a tbsp of milk. Use lukewarm water to remove once it has dried

You can also de-tan your skin with aloe vera gel and lemon juice. It has skin-soothing properties

A mixture of oatmeal and buttermilk can be applied to the tanned area. Wash it off after 30 minutes with lukewarm water

Coconut water will not only remove tan but also keep the skin hydrated and increase its elasticity

Another simple technique to de-tan skin is to make a puree of tomatoes and massage it over the affected areas

An easy remedy to de-tan skin is to apply a paste of curd and honey on the affected areas for a few minutes. It exfoliates and moisturises the skin

Using papaya pulp is also beneficial. It can be applied to the affected area for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash it off with water

Banana helps moisturise the skin.  Mash a banana till there are no lumps, add a tbsp of milk and lemon juice. Wash it off after 15 minutes with lukewarm water
