Six shot in Cleveland's Flats East Bank, suspect arrested
Shooting in Cleveland's Flats East Bank on Sunday left six people injured, including a 21-year-old suspect.
UPDATE: At least six people were hospitalized following a shooting in Cleveland's Flats East Bank early Sunday. The gunfire broke out on West 10th Street, where officers recovered approximately 40 shell casings, according to Police Chief Annie Todd.
"We do have four locations that are surrounding this immediate area that shell casings were discovered,” Todd told Fox 8.
The victims range in age from 16 to 45, and two are reported to be in critical condition. Among those shot was a 21-year-old suspect, who was later taken into custody, WKYC reported.
The shooting took place after the first Cleveland Browns home game.
“There was probably 100,000 people downtown yesterday for the Browns game,” Todd told Fox 8. “You know, thank goodness it didn’t end more tragically than it already has.”
ORIGINAL STORY: A shooting incident reportedly took place on Sunday at a parking lot in Cleveland, Ohio.
The shooting incident took place at Main Ave & W 10th St. Citizen app shared that firefighters were told that multiple people had been shot, at which time the cops were informed as well. Citizen app shared that two people had been critically injured and were shifted, while three were non-critically hurt and were being treated at the scene.
The suspect reportedly remains at large, and cops are continuing their search. Police are yet to issue an official statement about the incident.

Police are reportedly investigating a witness report that the suspect ditched an automatic weapon on the tracks near the scene. They are also reportedly looking into leads that the suspect fled northeast towards the railroad tracks.
