In a shocking incident, post-mortem photographs of a murdered eight-year-old Malaysian girl, whose body was found stuffed in a gym bag last month, are being circulated via the Internet.

The pictures being circulated include those taken at the crime scene as well as those taken during and after the post-mortem.
It is learnt that the pictures that had made its way into the Internet were those showing the objects that were found and retrieved from the girl's private parts.
Meanwhile, reacting strongly to the incident, police have warned those caught with such photographs could be charged under the country's Official Secrets Act.
"All those who have in their possession the pictures must hand over such pictures immediately or face the consequences," a top police official said.
A report had been lodged in this connection and the police officers were investigating who could have leaked the pictures and how, he said.
The girl's father said such an act was inhumane and those responsible had committed a sin similar to that of murdering his daughter.
Kuala Lumpur Hospital director Zaininah Mohd Zain said that following an investigation, it had been confirmed that the pictures were not from sources in the hospital.
She said the pictures had certain codes not used or served as reference by the hospital.
