Abhinav Bharti Public School Hosts Educart-Led NCF Workshop to Equip Teachers with NEP-Aligned Practices
In a significant step toward empowering educators with transformative pedagogies, Educart, in collaboration with Abhinav Bharti Public School, Kolkata, conducted a high-impact teacher training workshop on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for School Education on August 2, 2025. Led by CBSE Resource Person Mr. Chirantan Bhaduri and moderated by Mr. Manish Aggarwal, the session brought together over 25 teachers for a deep dive into NEP 2020’s vision and its practical implementation in classrooms.
The workshop opened with an interactive discussion that demystified the NCF’s goals and structure, helping teachers connect the policy’s intent with everyday teaching practices. Mr. Bhaduri skillfully bridged the gap between policy and pedagogy, explaining how the NCF and NEP 2020 collectively inform subject choices, assessment reforms, and learning outcomes across secondary education.
Participants engaged in collaborative exercises that showcased the power of project-based learning, one of NCF’s core pillars. Working in teams, educators designed mini-projects that encouraged interdisciplinary thinking, creativity, and student agency — all while aligning with curriculum mandates.
A dedicated segment focused on practical strategies for lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and inclusive education. Teachers also raised critical questions about curriculum flexibility, assessment formats, and subject restructuring — all of which were addressed with clarity and actionable guidance.
Key Highlights of the Workshop:
- Hosted by Educart as part of its ongoing CPD initiative for Indian educators
- Introduced the NCF as a practical guide for NEP 2020-aligned classroom transformation
- Enabled hands-on project-building activities rooted in the framework’s core themes
- Clarified subject choices, assessment reforms, and curriculum flexibility
- Encouraged reflection, dialogue, and peer collaboration among educators
- Empowered teachers to implement inclusive, learner-focused teaching strategies
Mr. Bhaduri also facilitated application-based tasks where educators examined learning outcomes through the lens of real-life scenarios and restructured lesson plans accordingly. Teachers left the session with practical resources and a renewed sense of clarity on how to implement curriculum reforms in their schools.
Speaking about the initiative, the school’s Principal remarked, “Workshops like these are crucial for decoding policy and turning it into practice. Educart has once again delivered training that is insightful, relevant, and action-oriented.”
By organizing this session, Educart reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Indian educators with the knowledge and tools they need to create 21st-century classrooms. As NEP 2020 continues to shape the future of Indian education, initiatives like this ensure teachers are not just informed but truly empowered to lead the change.
