Cambridge Court World School Collaborates with Educart on Transformative Classroom Management Workshop

As part of its ongoing commitment to empowering educators with 21st-century teaching strategies, on 26th June, 2025 Cambridge Court World School, Jaipur, in collaboration with Educart (Agrawal Group of Publications), successfully hosted a professional development workshop on Effective Classroom Management. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Priyanka Tomar, a CBSE-certified master trainer, and moderated by Mr. Abhishek from Educart.

The two-hour session focused on redefining classroom management as a tool for student empowerment rather than mere discipline enforcement. Instead of emphasizing control-based systems, the workshop explored how teachers can create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning spaces by using proactive and student-centered strategies.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

• Clear Expectations & Routines: Teachers learned how to establish predictable classroom routines that foster student independence and reduce behavioral issues.
• Engagement through Empathy: Emphasis was laid on building positive teacher-student relationships as the cornerstone of effective classroom culture.
• Practical Tools & Techniques: From body language cues and voice modulation to proximity control and praise strategies like “Catch Them Being Good,” teachers explored techniques they could implement immediately.
• Collaborative Role-Play: Educators participated in real-life classroom scenario activities, where they practiced de-escalation strategies and problem-solving in challenging situations.
• Behavior Management Frameworks: Introduction to tiered interventions that help manage diverse learner needs without compromising the learning environment.

The workshop was highly interactive, with teachers sharing their daily challenges and collaboratively brainstorming solutions. The discussion touched upon common classroom disruptions, maintaining consistency in consequences, and ensuring fairness and empathy in discipline practices.

The session also aligned closely with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, especially its emphasis on creating learner-friendly classrooms, teacher autonomy, and inclusive education environments.

The school’s leadership team extended their gratitude to Educart and the speaker for curating a session that was not just theoretical but full of actionable strategies. The principal and senior academic coordinators expressed interest in hosting more such sessions across themes like Assessment, Inclusive Education, and Technology Integration in the upcoming academic year.
