Dolphins High School Hosts Educart’s Workshop on Critical and Creative Thinking
In a significant stride toward promoting 21st-century teaching methods, on June 27th, 2025 Dolphins High School, Jaipur, in collaboration with Educart, conducted a thought-provoking Teacher Training Workshop on the theme “Critical and Creative Thinking.” The session was led by CBSE Resource Person Ms. Priyanka Tomar, and was graced by the school’s Principal Ms. Nidhi Bhatia and Vice Principal Ms. Sageleen, who emphasized the importance of such faculty development programs in their academic vision.
The workshop aimed to equip educators with practical tools and frameworks to embed higher-order thinking skills into everyday classroom instruction—moving beyond content delivery toward curiosity-driven learning. Teachers explored a range of engagement strategies and thinking routines that foster analytical reasoning, innovation, and creative expression among students.
Ms. Tomar introduced interactive exercises to help educators:
- Redesign traditional lesson plans using thinking-based tasks
- Apply brainstorming and inquiry techniques across subjects
- Encourage open-ended questioning to spark curiosity
- Blend creativity with curriculum goals through mind maps and design challenges
The workshop struck a balance between conceptual clarity and hands-on experience, offering teachers actionable insights to reimagine how they teach and assess. Participants also reflected on real classroom challenges and discussed ways to make lessons more student-centered and future-ready.
“Workshops like these help shift our mindset from teaching answers to guiding students in asking better questions,” said one of the participating teachers.
The leadership team at Dolphins High School expressed appreciation for Educart’s efforts and confirmed plans to explore reference books, question banks, and further training opportunities with the publisher in the coming months. With enthusiastic participation and forward-thinking discussion, the workshop served as another step in building a thinking-oriented school culture one where students are not just informed, but empowered to think, question, and create.
