On May 24, 2025, a special CPD (Continuous Professional Development) training webinar on Inclusive Education was held for school teachers, led by experienced educator and speaker Ms. Isha Johri. The session was all about helping teachers make their classrooms welcoming and supportive for every type of student, no matter their learning style, background, or challenges.

Teachers from different schools joined in and had meaningful conversations about what it truly means to be an inclusive teacher. Ms. Johri spoke in a simple, clear way, using real life examples and easy to understand science behind how different students learn.

Webinar: Inclusive Education

  • Type of Event: Webinar for School Teachers
  • Topic: Inclusive Education
  • School: Multiple Schools (Open Webinar)
  • Speaker: Isha Johri
  • Date: 24th May 2025

    • What Teacher’s Knew More About, by the End of the Session:

      • What is Inclusive Education? Teachers explored the idea of making classrooms that work for everyone, not just the "average" student.
      • Diverse Classrooms: Discussion around how students have different abilities, learning styles, and emotional needs. Teachers were shown how to spot and support these differences early.
      • More Than Just Labels: The webinar helped teachers move past textbook definitions. Inclusion isn’t only about students with visible disabilities, it’s also about supporting kids with anxiety, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.
      • Brain-Based Learning: Ms. Johri explained how some students process information differently and why being patient, kind, and flexible in teaching methods really matters.
      • Real-World Classroom Strategies: Teachers learned easy, practical methods like giving choices in assignments, breaking down big tasks into steps, and checking in regularly with students.
      • Changing Assessment Methods: Instead of just final exams, teachers were encouraged to use regular check-ins, verbal feedback, and observation to understand student progress.

The session highlighted the power of empathy in teaching. Making every child feel seen, heard, and safe boosts confidence and learning. And not to forget, the valuable QnA session, teachers shared their experiences, asked questions, and got personal tips from Ms. Johri on handling common classroom challenges.

The session ended with teachers feeling more confident and prepared to welcome all kinds of learners into their classrooms. Many shared how the session helped them understand students better and rethink some of their old ways of teaching.

Workshops like this are part of Educart’s commitment to ongoing teacher development. When teachers keep learning, students benefit the most because the classroom becomes a space where everyone gets the chance to shine.
