Educart’s Workshop on Data-Driven Approach & Self-Reflection Activities at Maxfort School With Dr. Sonika Chauhan

Maxfort School, Paschim Vihar, recently conducted a powerful workshop titled “Data-Driven Approach and Self-Reflection Activities in Education.” on 31 May, 2025. The workshop was led by Dr. Sonika Chauhan, a respected educationist and CPD trainer, and facilitated by Nishant Singh Lakra, Head of Academics at Educart. With a focus on transforming classroom practices, the session inspired teachers to rethink how data and reflection can shape more responsive and impactful teaching.

As part of Educart’s growing CPD (Continuous Professional Development) program, the workshop aimed to equip educators with practical frameworks to address learning gaps and design intentional learning environments. The training welcomed enthusiastic participation from Maxfort School teachers, who brought their classroom experiences to the discussion and walked away with tools to improve both instruction and student engagement.

One of the session’s highlights was the introduction of the CARE Framework, a structured approach to using classroom data and self-awareness for continuous improvement in teaching. Dr. Chauhan broke the framework down into its four key components and used real classroom anecdotes to make each one relatable and actionable.

It showed teachers how small shifts like tracking participation patterns or comparing performance across question types can reveal larger learning trends. These trends, when reflected upon thoughtfully, allow educators to adjust their methods in real time.

Teachers shared examples of moments when assumptions clouded decision making and how a reflective lens might have changed outcomes.
