NRI Global Discovery School Hosts Educart’s Workshop on Critical and Creative Thinking
On 12th June 2025, Educart partnered with NRI Global Discovery School, Bhopal to conduct an insightful workshop on “Critical and Creative Thinking.” The session, held on campus, was led by Ms. Nikita Porwal, a CBSE Resource Person and the Director of Birla Open Minds International School, Indore.
Focused on equipping educators with practical tools to nurture higher-order thinking, the workshop brought together faculty members for a deep dive into strategies that encourage analysis, questioning, and creative exploration in the classroom. Teachers explored how to move beyond rote learning and create inquiry-based spaces where students develop real-world problem-solving skills.
Throughout the session, Ms. Porwal emphasized the role of reflection and perspective-building in both teaching and learning. Teachers actively participated in activities designed to simulate student thought processes, helping them better understand how to frame questions, lead discussions, and design tasks that challenge learners to think critically.
“This session opened our eyes to how small changes in questioning or task design can make a big impact on how students engage with the subject,” shared one participant.
The workshop was not just about instruction - it sparked meaningful dialogue around classroom transformation and teacher mindset. Many educators shared that they felt motivated to rethink their approach to lesson delivery and interaction.
The session concluded with encouraging remarks from the school’s Principal, who expressed a strong interest in extending the partnership with Educart. Plans are already in motion for future workshops on diverse themes ranging from assessment to student well-being, strengthening the school’s commitment to teacher growth and holistic education.
By initiating such training programs, NRI Global Discovery School reinforces the importance of professional development as a continuous journey - one where both teachers and students grow together.
