Cracking a job interview: These 6 points will leave your recruiter impressed!

Do you have an impending job interview? Are you nervous about how to converse with your interviewer?  These 6 tips by the University of North Georgia will help you relax.

When entering the interview room, greet the interviewer with a handshake and a smile, and maintain eye contact.

Try to develop a healthy and positive rapport with your interviewer and wait for him/her to take the lead.

One must essentially be honest during an interview as false and exaggerated details will only result negatively later.

Listen carefully to what the interviewer is asking and ask for clarification if you are not clear. Answer concisely and do not deviate from the subject.

During an interview, highlight your key skills and strengths, and your desire to learn.

Do not get deterred by a question that you cannot answer. Remain positive. Once the interview is over, thank the interviewer and express your interest in the job.
