5 bedtime habits for healthy and glowing skin

Your bedtime skincare routine can positively impact skin health as your skin goes into recovery mode while you sleep. Here are five healthy bedtime habits to adopt to achieve glowing skin.

Deep cleanse your face

Your skin gets exposed to dust and pollution throughout the day which can get accumulated. This can clog your pores and damage the collagen present in your skin.

Moisturise your skin

It is essential to keep your skin hydrated at night as it goes into repair mode. Apply moisturiser at night to help keep your skin hydrated.

Apply under eye cream

It is essential to moisturise the region under the eyes as the skin under your eyes is extremely delicate and ages the fastest. You can use argon oil, aloe vera gel or under-eye products to nourish it.

Switch to a silk pillowcase

Switch to a silk pillowcase as the gentle fabric helps prevent friction on the skin, which can lead to damage. The fabric also does not absorb the skincare products applied before bed.

Hydrate a few hours before bedtime

Drink plenty of fluids a few hours before going to sleep as it helps flush out toxins from the body, resulting in glowing skin. You can opt for water,  cinnamon, or chamomile tea to keep your skin hydrated.
