5 easy tips to maintain a tulsi plant at home

Tulsi is an excellent houseplant as it can thrive indoors and has several herbal properties. Here are some tips to take care of a tulsi plant at home.

Potting

You can pot the tulsi plant in well-drained, aerated and porous soil mixed with cocopeat to boost the soil's fertility. You can opt for a medium sized pot.

Watering

Watering tulsi plant regularly is essential to keep them green and healthy. Avoid overwatering them, as it can lead to waterlogging in the soil. 

 Temperature and humidity

Tulsi is an ideal houseplant as it can thrive in warm temperatures and medium to high humidity levels.

Sunlight

This plant can grow well both indoors and outdoors. You can keep them in your balcony or near a window to provide them adequate sunlight.

Pruning

Make sure to prune them every week to get rid of dead and dry leaves and flowers.
