5 tips to maintain syngonium plant

Syngoniums are adaptable in nature, making them ideal indoor houseplants. Here are five tips for maintaining a syngonium plant.

Soil

Syngoniums require a well-draining potting mix with good drainage and moderate moisture retention.

Watering

Water your syngonium plant twice a week during spring and summer and once a week during winter. Avoid overwatering the plant as it is prone to root rot.

 Temperature and humidity

This indoor houseplant thrives well in warm and humid conditions with temperatures between 16°C  and 27°C.

Sunlight

Syngoniums require bright, indirect sunlight for a healthy growth.

Fertiliser

Fertilise the plant fortnightly during spring and summer. Avoid fertilising the plant in winter.
