IPL 2021 Highlights, Delhi capitals (DC) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH): Shreyas Iyer and captain Rishabh Pant put together a powerful partnership in the middle as Delhi Capitals registered an easy 8-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai. Khaleel Ahmed got rid of Prithvi Shaw early in DC chase. Shikhar Dhawan was the next to go for 42 after Rashid Khan boke the partnership between him and Shreyas Iyer. Earlier, An all-round bowling performance from the Delhi Capitals restricted the Sunrisers Hyderabad to 134 for 9. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje were the most impressive ones for DC. David Warner was dismissed for a duck in the first over by Nortje and then Rabada sent back Wriddhiman Saha after Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bat first against Delhi Capitals in match no. 33 of Indian Premier League in Dubai today. DC win by 8 wickets
Shreyas Iyer finishes it off with a six. DC have won by 8 wickets to reclaim the top spot in IPL 2021 points table. It has been a complete performance from DC. First it was their bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje who never allowed the SRH batsmen to get into any sort of them and then it was their strong Indian batters in Shikhar Dhawan (42), Shreyas Iyer (47) and Rishabh Pant (35*), who took charge to take them to an easy win with 13 balls to spare.
Pant seals the deal… Almost
FOUR! Slower delivery from Khaleel and Pant's just rolls his wrists over it to get it fine enough to beat the square leg fielder for a four.
SIX! A much powerful shot than the previous one and the result is there for everyone to see. Khaleel once again pitches it halfway down the middle and Pant pulls it for another six.
Pant smokes it
SIX! That was smashed. Bhuvneshwar Kumar missed his length. And at his pace, it was always going to easy pickings for Pant and to his credit, he got the perfect connection to that pull shot.
Where is the bat? Where is the ball?
You can perhaps these things only when Rishbah Pant is on strike. He swings himself off his feet and this time, he lost his bat. Williamson handed it over with a big smile. All for a dot ball.

Brilliant from Dhawan. First he got Sharma off length by sweeping him and then just punched it over extra cover collect consecutive fours. SRH have got to break this stand if they want to make a comeback in this match.
Shreyas Iyer is back

8th over… That has to be the longest Sandeep Sharma has waited to get the ball in his hands. He has most of his success in the IPL right at the top with the new ball but Williamson, today, throughout otherwise, let's see how it pans out.

FOUR! You can't ball short to Dhawan if you don't have the pace and the direction. Holder had neither and he was dully punished by Dhawan. He rocked back and pulled away for a boundary.

SIX! Dhawan is in some form today. It was pitched up Rashid Khan and Dhawan went down on one knee and hit the most delightful slog sweep to deposit it into the stands for a maximum. He is they key in this chase.
Tidy over from Bhuvneshwar
Quality over from SRH's premier fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He used the cutters to good affect. Only two runs from this over. Have an eerie feeling that this won't be that easy a chase as it appears to be.
Cracker of a shot from Dhawan
FOUR! “He dismissed it from his presence,” said Sunil Gavaskar in the commentary box and he is spot on. That was hammered down the ground so hard by Dhawan that the ball might have left a trail on its path. DC 27/1 after 4 overs.
Khaleel gets Shaw
OUT! Slower one does the trick for Khaleel Ahmed. Prithvi Shaw mistimes it and Williamson takes a good catch. Shaw was way early into that shot and got no connection on that. His only hope was if it had enough to beat Williamson but the SRH captain took a good running catch. Important wicket for SRH. DC 20/1
Shaw joins the party
FOUR! Prithvi Shaw is very good taking advantage of the field restrictions. His bat face closed while attempting that lofted shot but he got enough bat on it to take it over the infield.
Two fours in that Bhuvi over
Dhawan looks solid. Those two fours off Bhuvneshwar were a testimony to that fact. DC should have it easy if Shaw and Dhawan give them a good start. So far so good for DC. They are 12-0 after 2 overs.

Good start from left-arm quick Khaleel Ahmed. The ball jagged back sharply into Shikhar Dhawan and hit him on the gloves. None the less, the left-hander gets his first runs two balls later.

First ball of the innings and DC and Shaw are off the mark. Tucked away for a single and Shaw would be pleased to get his first run without wasting any time.

And rightly so. SRH are without their death overs and yorker specialist T Natarajan, so all eyes would be on strike bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar to give them early wickets. And when you have Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw in front of you, that's all the motivation you need.

Two run outs to end the SRH innings, pretty much sums up their ordeal in this evening so far. Avesh Khan makes a good back and DC have done a commendable job to restrict SRH at 134 for 9 after they opted to bat first.

Not the best of starts to the last over for DC. Avesh Khan bowled a couple of wides and then got hit for a four by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. SRH need some sort of momentum going in the break.
Rashid swinging hard
Six and then a four. Just what the doctor ordered for SRH. Rashid Khan has somehow managed to hit Rabada for 10 runs after he got the wicket of Samad. Last over to go. SRH need Rashid on strike.
What a spell from Nortje
Full marks to Nortje maintaining his 145-plus almost throughout his spells. And the result? Four overs 2 for 13. It has been a masterclass of fast bowling from the big South African. SRH 11/6 after 18 overs.
