New Zealand scored the first win of their India tour, defeating the hosts by six runs in the second cricket One-day International at Feroz Shah Kotla ground in New Delhi on Thursday.

After scoring 242 for nine, New Zealand bowled out India for 49.3 in overs.

The series is now locked 1-1 and the teams travel to Chandigarh for the third match, scheduled for Sunday.
