Mohammad Rizwan spoke about his dismissal against James Anderson on Day 3 of the Multan Test against England.

Pakistan ended the day 3 of the ongoing second Test of the series against England at 198/4, still requiring 157 runs to win and level the three-match series in Multan. Saud Shakeel was unbeaten on 54 at stumps but Pakistan lost a key wicket of Imam-ul-Haq right towards the end of the day, who had been going strong on 60 off 103 deliveries when he couldn't resist attempting a cover drive against Jack Leach and eventually found a thick edge carrying to first slip.

However, it was James Anderson who stole the show with a Jaffa against Mohammad Rizwan in the second innings; Rizwan had opened for Pakistan after an injury to Imam, and had had been going strong at 30 off 42 deliveries when the player was deceived by Anderson's reverse, with the English veteran castling him. Rizwan was left shocked with the movement on the delivery and kept staring in disbelief following the dismissal.

After the end of the day, the Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter finally opened up on the delivery, calling it a ‘masterclass’ from Anderson.

“Always a masterclass, I love him. I have no answers of his questions. What can I say?” Rizwan said on Sky Sports Cricket.

He also revealed his chat with Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah following his dismissal. “I met Naseem Shah afterwards, I told him the way he bowled to me, you do the same in England,” said Rizwan hilariously.

England, which held a 79-run first innings lead, had set up another imposing target of 355 runs on a deteriorating Multan Cricket Stadium wicket after it was bowled out for 275 in its second innings.

The tourists had already successfully defended 342 runs on a flat wicket in the first test to clinch a 74-run win at Rawalpindi in England's first test in Pakistan for 17 years.
