The RBSE Class 12 board examinations 2026 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) began on February 12 and concluded on March 11. The examination schedule started with the English paper and ended with the Mathematics paper, with each exam conducted between 8:30 am and 11:45 am. The examinations covered major streams including Science, Arts and Commerce.
The Rajasthan board has introduced several measures in recent years to ensure transparency and smooth conduct of board examinations. In 2025, RBSE implemented new guidelines under which question paper envelopes were displayed and signed by two student witnesses before being opened in the examination hall. In addition, barcode-tagged answer booklets were used for all subjects except Hindi and English, which improved tracking during the evaluation process.
Students were required to enter the examination halls 15 minutes before the start of the exam at 8:30 am. Security arrangements were also strengthened across examination centres. Joint flying squads consisting of board officials, joint directors, district education officers and special teams monitored exam centres to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
Reports also indicated that the RBSE headquarters in Ajmer operated a 24-hour control room during the examination period to monitor activities across the state through CCTV feeds and other surveillance systems. Nearly 66 centralized collection centres were used to securely store answer sheets collected from examination centres.
Meanwhile, the RBSE Class 10 board examinations 2026 were conducted between February 12 and February 28, with each paper held between 8:30 am and 11:45 am. According to RBSE data, around 10,68,078 students registered for the Class 10 examination, while approximately 7,811 candidates registered for the Praveshika examination.
Looking at previous trends, a total of 10,39,895 students appeared for the RBSE Class 12 examinations in 2024. The pass percentage for the Science stream stood at 97.73 per cent, while Arts recorded 96.88 per cent and Commerce recorded 98.95 per cent.
