The RBSE board examinations 2026 were conducted under new guidelines introduced by the board to improve transparency and monitoring. Under these measures, the question paper envelope was displayed and signed by two student witnesses before being opened in the examination hall. In addition, the board used barcode-tagged answer booklets for all subjects except Hindi and English.
The examinations began at 8:30 am, and students were required to enter the examination hall 15 minutes before the start of the exam. Each examination lasted 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Security arrangements were also strengthened during the examinations. Joint flying squads comprising officials from the board and the education department, including joint directors and district education officers, conducted inspections at examination centres. Special squad members were responsible for handling complaints and carrying out surprise checks during the exam period, according to RBSE.
A 24-hour control room was also set up at the Rajasthan board headquarters to monitor examination activities. According to reports, officials monitored exam centres through large screens, CCTV cameras and other devices. A separate room with dedicated telephone lines was also established to handle communication related to examination concerns.
The RBSE also set up 66 collection centres across the state to store answer sheets securely. These answer sheets were later evaluated at centralized centres by academic professionals.
Looking at recent trends, the RBSE Class 10 results in 2025 were declared on May 28 after the examinations were conducted between March 6 and April 4. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.60 per cent, with boys recording 92.64 per cent and girls recording 93.46 per cent.
