The RBSE Class 12 board examinations in 2026 were conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) from February 12 to March 11. The examination schedule began with the English paper and concluded with the Mathematics paper, with each exam conducted between 8:30 am and 11:45 am. The examinations covered major streams including Science, Arts and Commerce.

In recent years, the Rajasthan board has introduced several measures to strengthen the transparency and security of board examinations. In 2025, the board implemented new guidelines for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Under these guidelines, question paper envelopes were displayed and signed by two student witnesses before being opened in the examination hall. In addition, all subjects except Hindi and English used barcode-tagged answer booklets to improve tracking and evaluation.

Students were required to enter the examination hall 15 minutes before the 8:30 am start time, while security measures were also strengthened at exam centres. Joint flying squads consisting of board officials, joint directors, district education officers and special teams monitored examination centres to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exams.

Reports also indicated that the RBSE headquarters in Ajmer operated a 24-hour control room during the examination period to monitor activities across the state through CCTV feeds and other surveillance systems. Nearly 66 centralized collection centres were used to securely store answer sheets collected from examination centres.

Meanwhile, the RBSE Class 10 board examinations 2026 were conducted from February 12 to February 28, with each exam held in the same time slot of 8:30 am to 11:45 am. According to RBSE data, around 10,68,078 students registered for the Class 10 examination, while 7,811 candidates registered for the Praveshika examination.

Looking at previous trends, the RBSE Class 10 results in 2025 were announced on May 28, after the examinations were conducted between March 6 and April 4. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.60 per cent, with boys recording 92.64 per cent and girls recording 93.46 per cent.
