JAC 12th Science Result 2026
JAC 12th Commerce Result 2026
JAC 12th Arts Result 2026The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is expected to announce the SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) results for 2026 soon. While the board has not confirmed an official date yet, students across Gujarat are awaiting updates as the evaluation process continues.
The board conducted both examinations in March this year across multiple centres. The SSC (Class 10) exams were held from March 11 to March 22, 2026, marking the completion of secondary education for lakhs of students. The HSC (Class 12) exams, including Science, General and Vocational streams, were conducted from March 11 to March 26, 2026.
With the exams now over, the answer sheet evaluation process is underway. This involves multiple stages, including checking, cross-checking and moderation before the final results are prepared.
Expected result timeline
Although the exact date is yet to be announced, past trends suggest that results are likely to be declared between April and May.
In previous years, the HSC Science stream results have been released first, usually in April, with SSC and HSC General stream results typically following in May. A similar pattern was observed in 2025 and 2024, while in 2023, results were slightly delayed due to administrative processes.
Based on this trend, students can expect the 2026 results within a similar timeframe. However, the final date will depend on the completion of evaluation, verification and approval procedures.

Details on the marksheet
The online marksheet will include details such as the student’s name, seat number, subject-wise marks, total marks, grade and qualifying status. For Class 12 students, stream details may also be mentioned.
The online result is provisional. Students will have to collect their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools later. In case of any discrepancies, they should contact their school authorities immediately.
Re-evaluation and supplementary exams
Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets. This allows them to request a review of their marks.
Those who fail in one or more subjects will be eligible to appear for supplementary examinations. These exams provide an opportunity to improve scores without losing an academic year.
What after the results
After the results are declared, students move on to the next stage of their academic journey.
Class 10 students will apply for admission to Class 11, choosing streams such as Science, Commerce or Arts based on their marks and interests. Some may also opt for diploma or vocational courses.
Class 12 students will use their results for undergraduate admissions. They can apply for courses such as BA, BSc, BCom and other professional programmes. Many students will also prepare for entrance exams for fields like engineering, medicine, law and management.
The declaration of results is a crucial step in the academic calendar. It not only determines immediate academic choices but also influences long-term career paths.
With the evaluation process underway, students across Gujarat are now waiting for the official announcement. Once released, the results will pave the way for the next phase of academic and professional planning.
