UP Board will declare the intermediate or Class 12 examination results 2019 on April 27 at 12:30 PM. This year, 26,11,319 students registered for the Intermediate exams in the state.
As per UP Board records, a total of 3.20 crore answer sheets were evaluated at 230 evaluation centers by around 1.25 lakh teachers including 1.90 crore answer sheet of High School examination by 79,064 teachers and 1.30 crore answer sheets of Intermediate by 45,732 teachers.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, commonly known as UP Board, has implemented a five-time hike in its scrutiny application fee. The board has fixed the scrutiny fee at Rs 500 per subject instead of earlier fee of Rs 100.
It is an apparent attempt to desist non-serious examinees from applying for scrutiny of their class 10 and class 12 board exam answersheets. The scale of the hike can be better understood by the fact that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at present charges Rs 300 per subject for scrutiny.
The scrutiny involves checking of answer sheets of a examinee to ensure that every question attempted by the candidate concerned has been evaluated and the calculated total marks awarded to the examinee is correct.
