The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has confirmed that the Class 12 or Intermediate final examination results will be declared by the state’s Education Minister Sunil Kumar. The official confirmation regarding the Class 10 or Matric examination result date and time is still awaited. However, based on previous trends, the Matric results are expected to be announced soon.

During the result press conference, board officials will share several key details related to the examinations. These include the names of stream-wise toppers, the number of candidates who appeared for the examination, the number of students who passed, the overall pass percentage and other related statistics.

After the announcement, the BSEB Class 12 scorecards will be made available on the board’s official websites. Students can also check their results through the Hindustan Times (HT) portal, where candidates can pre-register by providing their details. Those who register in advance will receive updates on their mobile phones and email addresses once the results are declared. The same link can also be used later to access and download the scorecards.

Students can check the BSEB Matric and Inter results 2026 by visiting the official result websites or the HT portal once the results are announced. After opening the result page, candidates need to enter the required details and submit the information. The scorecard will then appear on the screen, which students can download and keep for their records.

The Bihar Class 12 board examinations 2026 were conducted between February 2 and February 13. The examinations were held in two shifts, with the first shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Students were given a 15-minute cool-off period, from 9:30 am to 9:45 am in the first shift and from 2 pm to 2:15 pm in the second shift.

Last year, around 12.92 lakh students were eligible to appear for the Intermediate examination, including 6,41,847 girls and 6,50,466 boys. The examinations were conducted at 1,677 centres across the state.

The overall pass percentage for Class 12 last year stood at 86.50 per cent. A total of 5,08,540 students passed with first division, while 5,07,002 students secured second division. Around 91,788 students passed with third division.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 was recorded at 87.21 per cent. The Arts stream recorded a pass percentage of 86.15 per cent, while the Commerce stream recorded 94.88 per cent. The Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 87.80 per cent.
