Pune's Special CBI-ACB court sentenced former GST superintendent Vivek Madhukar Dekate to four years of rigorous imprisonment and his wife, Lalita, to three years for accumulating disproportionate assets valued at ₹38.17 lakh. The court found they failed to justify their wealth, as evidence showed extensive illicit gains. Both were convicted under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
