Rajender Singh Dagar, president of All India Jat Mahasabha, Delhi said they are unhappy with the BJP-JJP government over the issue and they have decided to support the woman coach.

“Various khaps of Haryana and Delhi will take part in a mahapanchayat today at Jharoda Kalan village and we will announce our course of action if the Haryana government fails to sack Sandeep Singh as minister,” he added.

However, Gulia Khap of Jhajjar also announced to support the woman coach and launch an agitation if the government did not remove Singh from the cabinet.

Social activist and former international volleyball player Jagmati Sangwan also wrote a letter to PT Usha, president of Indian Olympics association about the sexual harassment case filed by the woman coach against the minister.

“I urge you to intervene into the matter of a woman coach, who is fighting a case of sexual harassment against minister Sandeep Singh. After the case, the minister has just given up sports portfolio and he has been using government machinery to harass the complainant in every manner. Plain-clothed police officials have been asked to track every moment of the woman coach,” Sangwan wrote in the letter.
