The National Capital Delhi is witnessing a major water crisis as the water level in the Yamuna river depletes. Water supply has been hit in parts of Delhi like North Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, and parts of South Delhi including Delhi Cantt. The Delhi Jal Board has written a letter to Haryana's irrigation department seeking the urgent release of 150 cusecs of water in the Yamuna. Meanwhile, a blame game has also erupted between the Delhi govt and Haryana govt. Delhi has accused Haryana of not releasing its share of water.
