AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has dared Modi government to list Taliban as a terrorist outfit and slammed the centre for what he says strategic blunder in Afghanistan. Addressing a press conference in Patna, Owaisi said that he had already warned government of Taliban takeover in Afghanistan and urged for an engagement with the Islamist group. However, Owaisi claimed, that by not engaging with Taliban, India has lost its influence in Afghanistan and has been forced to shut its embassy and all consulates in the country.
