Russia is pushing 'friendly nations' to switch to national currencies for trade and ditch the dollar. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met ASEAN Foreign Ministers' and discussed a switch to national currencies. Due to western sanctions, Russia's trade turnover with ASEAN witnessed a fall.
