Taliban men killed by Panjshir Resistance fighters; Saleh mocks US | Afghanistan
Even as the United States exited Afghanistan, the valley of Panjshir is refusing to surrender to Taliban. According to the spokesman of National Resistance Forces Fahim Dashti, the Resistance forces killed 7-8 Taliban fighters and wounded many. Panjshir is the only province that is not in Taliban’s control yet. Meanwhile, self-claimed acting president of Afghanistan and the leader of resistance forces Amrullah Saleh mocked the US and said that “a superpower decided to be a mini power but it’s okay”. Another resistance leader Ahmad Massoud echoed Saleh’s sentiments of continuing to fight in a tweet that he put out shortly after US finished its withdrawal. Watch the full video for more details.
