Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have been on a promotional spree for their upcoming movie Dhadak and the highlight of most of their interviews and appearances happens to be the way they interact with each other. The two enjoy the other’s company and at the same time they also pull each other’s leg. This reflects onscreen, especially in the song Zingaat that is featured in the film.

The two have also been spotted together at various movie screenings too. Their casual camaraderie will also be seen in Dhadak in the beginning of the film, in which the two fall in love. From what we see in the trailer, the love between Ishaan and Janhvi’s character begins with silly fight and verbal insults. This is also something that we have seen the two share in real life, especially in casual interviews.

The humour in the actors’ relationship is also visible in the pictures that were released from the sets of the film. Even recently, the two jokingly confessed that they were uneducated and did not even attend college.

Janhvi and Ishaan have an infectious chemistry is expected to work in favour of the film, which is in essence a romantic drama. Speaking about Ishaan, Jahnvi had earlier said, “He’s talented, energetic and passionate. He works with so much dedication and there is a lot to learn from him. At the same time, he is great fun.”

Dhadak is slated to release on July 20 and is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is a love story of a girl from a strict family in Rajasthan and a boy she falls in love with. The film is the Hindi adaptation of Marathi film Sairat.
