Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who are gearing up for their upcoming film Padmaavat, struck a pose for the camera and they look ecstatic. Should we credit the wave of support their film has been getting for their joy? Padmaavat hit theatres on Thursday, also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

Sharing the picture on her Instagram, Deepika posted, “My Main Man,Now & Forever!from both of us to all of you...We LOVE you!see you at the movies!”

Deepika was a picture of grace at HT India’s Most Stylish on Wednesday night. Dressed in a heavy silk saree, the screen Padmavati described her state of mind as “overwhelmed, emotional”. Her film, Padmaavat, was on the cusp of releasing after a long and arduous struggle and while receiving an honour on stage, the actor said, “Very excited about release of the film tomorrow. It’s a big day for all of us. I am extremely overwhelmed and extremely emotional. I am very excited. The film has been through so much.”

She also said, “I am extremely overwhelmed and emotional right now. I think this film has been through so much. To see that the film is finally releasing and to see the kind of reactions that the film is getting, reactions to my performance, it is extremely overwhelming.”

Speaking earlier, she said she was overwhelmed by the reviews the film has received and said they are all set to celebrate and watch the film do wonders at the box-office now.

She also said speaking to media, “I am not someone who has ever been excited about the box-office numbers, but I have to say that this time I am because I think it’s going to be earth-shattering. “

The event also saw Deepika walking in while Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were at the event. Padmaavat’s Rawal Ratan Singh and his onscreen queen had a happy reunion at the award night.
