Yogi Adityanath government removes many ex-bureaucrats, politicians of ‘lal batti’

The Yogi government passed an order to this effect denuding all such officers and politicians of ‘lal batti’ (red beacon) here on Monday.

Lucknow Dozens of retired bureaucrats and politicians whom the outgoing government had appointed advisor to government or chairman, vice-chairman,member in various corporations, boards and committees have been removed from their pots with immediate effect.

In a letter to the agriculture production commissioner, industrial development commissioner, social welfare commissioner and all principal secretaries/secretaries, chief secretary Rahul Bhatnagar has said the orders in this regard be complied with promptly.
