According to sources a 24-year old youth, Navin Jain a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Aerodrome Road who works as a marketing executive with Speed Agriculture met 21-year-old Neha Thakur while she was engaged in that profession. He fell in love with the girl after their first meeting about a year back at a public park in Nagpur.

As Jain had to travel on business to the city on several occasions he had the chance to keep meeting her, know her family background and status and as to why and how she was in the trade.

The girl narrated her woeful tale of agony informing him that her mother a former prostitute had pushed her four daughters in the flesh trade and that two of her sisters were working as bar dancers in Mumbai and two others were engaged in this profession in the same city, while she was forced into it against her will.

Jain vowed then and there that he would lift her out of the quagmire she was in and the girl proposed to him in return as an expression of her love for the noble soul.

Both managed to escape from Nagpur on December 13 and arrived at Indore where Jain fearing the safety of the girl kept her at his house. On December 27 the girl’s mother accompanied by some people of the trade, pimps and policemen from Nagpur came in search of Neha to the City.
