Photos: Delhi wakes up to heavy rain, waterlogged streets

People in the Delhi, Gurugram and Noida woke up to heavy downpour and thunder on Saturday morning. Though the rainfall brought respite from humidity but caused waterlogging in several parts of the National Capital Region leading to traffic snarls. The weather office on Friday had forecast light rains in the city. Streets were waterlogged near the Civic Centre at Minto Road and also in Civil Lines area where various cars were seen half-submerged in water. The Rashtrapati Bhavan also had to cancel the Change of Guard ceremony due to heavy rains.
