    Photos| Republic Day 2019: Honouring valour and celebrating empowerment

    India marks its 70th Republic Day today, the occasion commemorating the Indian Constitution coming into effect after careful deliberations in the Constituent Assembly. The day, sixty-nine years ago, marked the completion of independent India’s transition towards a nation that defines itself a republic. The nation celebrates with all eyes towards New Delhi where the Republic Day Parade rolling down Rajpath is the highlight affair along with ceremonies honouring valour and displays of culture.
