As Arvind Kejriwal’s government completes three years of an eventful tenure at Delhi Secretariat, the Aam Aadmi Party needs to fulfil several unkept promises from mohalla clinics to tackling Delhi’s air pollution to ensure a steady pace of development. A look at hits and misses so far.

Other ideas to tackle pollution, such as cloud-seeding and sprinkling water from choppers were also described as unnecessary. Of 1,000 clinics planned under the Mohalla Clinic scheme only 160 clinics are now operational with expansion crawling for want of land from various agencies. The government is also providing free surgeries and radio-diagnosis tests at empanelled private centres, if service is unavailable or waiting period too long at government hospitals. (HT Archive)
