At Pune’s literary festival, union minister Babul Supriyo asks Shatrughan to make a ‘Khamosh’ exit from party

“I think he has been continuously insulting and provoking the BJP ministers, without understanding that all his banter is rather being ignored. He is a very well-known personality, but when he has attained a position at the parliament through a particular party he should bear some level of respect for the party. In case he cannot, he can always leave and form his own party with his fan following,” said Supriyo.

“I think he has been continuously insulting and provoking the BJP ministers, without understanding that all his banter is rather being ignored. He is a very well-known personality, but when he has attained a position at the parliament through a particular party he should bear some level of respect for the party. In case he cannot, he can always leave and form his own party with his fan following,” said Supriyo, while in Pune for the Shabdotsav Literary Festival organised by Symbiosis International Deemed University. .

On Friday, Sinha had said that Rajasthan had become the first to give BJP its ‘triple talaq’ following the news of defeats in the recent assembly and Lok Sabha bypolls.

"Breaking news with record breaking disastrous results for ruling party - Rajasthan becomes first state to give BJP Triple Talaq. Ajmer: Talaq, Alwar: Talaq, Mandalgarh: Talaq. Our opponents winning the elections with record margins, giving our party a jolt,” Sinha had tweeted.

“Why don’t you give BJP a triple talaq and leave the party, instead of insulting your own Prime Minister and the political party every day. Before someone tells ‘Khamosh’ (silence) to you, why don’t you bear silence and leave the party instead?” said Supriyo, in response to his continuous stream of statements embarrassing the party.
