Dhanush, Kajol together in new motion poster of Velai Illa Pattadhari 2
Soundarya Rajinikanth, who has directed Velai Illa Pattadhari 2, has said it is a visual treat to see Kajol and Dhanush on the big screen together in her upcoming directorial venture.
The latest motion poster of Soundaryaa Rajinikanth’s Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2) was unveiled early Saturday and fans can’t wait for the trailer that is scheduled to launch on Sunday, June 25.
The actors, as well as director Soundarya shared the poster on Twitter.
Soundarya has said it is a visual treat to see Kajol and Dhanush on the big screen together in her upcoming directorial venture. “It is a visual delight to see two powerhouse performers – Kajol and Dhanush in the same frame. VIP 2 has been an interesting and a memorable journey,” Soundaryaa said in a statement.
VIP 2 is a prequel of Tamil comedy drama of the same name released in 2014.
The trailer and music launch of the film is scheduled at a suburban multiplex here and several B-town celebrities, including Aanand L Rai and R Balki, will be attending the event.
“It feels great to have the support of (directors) R Balki sir, Aanand L Rai sir. It is gracious of them to take time out from their busy schedule and be a part of the event,” she added.
South megastar Rajinikanth, who is currently shooting in the city, is also likely to come for the event.
Produced by V Creations along with co-producer Wunderbar Films, VIP 2 will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages on July 28.
