Looks like a Bollywood star and a Tollywood actor will figure in a single frame soon. Former Bollywood actor Namrata Shirodkar on Wednesday shared few pictures on Instagram, showing her husband actor Mahesh Babu and Padmavati star Ranveer Singh chilling out during the shoot of upcoming commercial for the popular beverage, Thumbs Up. The shoot was at the Nascar race track in California, USA.

She wrote: “On the sets of Thums Up charged nascar race track California !!”

Mahesh’s last film Spyder, which was a highly anticipated film and one which also marked his formal debut in Tamil films, bombed badly. So did the film before Spyder called Brahmotsavam. For director AR Murugadoss too, Spyder’s debacle was a major dampener. Mahesh has now teamed up with Siva Koratala for Bharath Ane Nenu. Their last outing, Srimanthudu, was a hit and they are hoping for the same with this film.

Ranveer, meanwhile, awaits the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, which ran into controversy with Rajput groups objecting to, what they claim, was incorrect depiction of 14th century queen Rani Padmini and distortion of history, last month. The film, schedule to release on December 1, has been postponed.

The actor has a number of interesting films in his kitty which include Gully Boy with Zoya Akhtar, Simmba with Rohit Shetty and Kabir Khan’s ’83.
