"My late father is a role model for everyone to emulate not only in south India but also nationwide. The book entitled Jnapakalu Pandiri is being published by a firm partly owned by us to inspire future generations," Vishwanath Reddy told IANS.

"A book on the making of 75 classics by my father and a compact disc on the creation of one of the evergreen hits of all time 'Maya Bazar' are on the anvil," Reddy added.

During his movie career spanning over six decades, Nagi Reddy (1912-2004) produced over 50 movies in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages of which most were hits and remakes of his own successful ventures. Some of his hits include Patala Bhairavi (1951), Missamma (1955), Maya Bazaar (1957), Gundamma Katha (1962). In Hindi, he delivered hits like Ram Aur Shyam, Julie (1975 - Hindi), and Swarg Narak (1978).
