Cold & foggy Christmas morning in Delhi, mercury dips to 6 degrees Celsius

Residents of the national capital woke up to a cold and foggy Christmas morning as the temperature dipped to 6 degrees Celsius. The IMD has said that severe cold conditions will continue at least till the 28th of December. Visibility was less than 100 metres in the wee hours and the air quality was also recorded in the very poor category. The homeless have been badly affected and have been flocking to shelter homes where they are being provided with a blanket.
