The Delhi government has announced its decision to bear the full examination fees imposed by the Central Board of Secondary Education on class 10 and 12 students studying in Delhi government schools. Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia, on the sidelines of an event, said that students of all categories would be benefited by the move. The Aam Aadmi Party government made the decision following CBSE's move to increase exam fees. The board later gave relief to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students in Delhi.
